At Fable Diner & Bar, we believe that every great story has a beginning, middle, and end – and ours is no different. We take pride in the fact that our story started with the opening team of the renowned Kingston Taphouse, and has since grown into a tale of passion, dedication, and culinary excellence.

In 2012, we set out to create a restaurant that would be a beacon of farm-to-table dining in Vancouver. Our first endeavor was Fable Kitchen, nestled in the heart of Kitsilano, where we sourced only the freshest, locally grown ingredients to create a menu of delicious, comforting dishes that quickly won the hearts of Vancouverites.

But we knew our story was far from over. We drew inspiration from the simplicity and authenticity of diners, and envisioned a place where we could showcase the best of Vancouver’s local ingredients and suppliers. That’s how Fable Diner & Bar was born, at the base of the historic Lee Building, with an atmosphere that exudes sophistication and elegance while maintaining a warm and inviting vibe.

Today, we are proud to stand apart from other diners in the city. We craft almost everything from scratch, and our menu is a celebration of Vancouver’s rich culinary landscape. Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast, a juicy burger, or a refreshing cocktail, we have something for everyone.
